Reverend J. Kyle Parker
Kyle Parker, a native Coloradoan, graduated from Colorado State University. During his university years, Kyle became a Christian. The interest in ministry developed through conversation, inquiry, and doubt addressed with an increasing respect for the history and role of the church. Kyle earned a master of divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, and worked on multiple college campuses with Reformed University Fellowship. Following RUF, he served as the senior pastor of Cascade Presbyterian Church in Eugene, Oregon.
Kyle and Gretchen, along with their two children, love Spokane! “Spokane is an intersection of agriculture, urban, athletic, adventure, university, within a great community which is increasingly concerned with building a great city.” Coram Deo desires to be a church about the work of sharing the joys, difficulties, victories, and need for redemption with our neighbors.
Reverend Paul Proctor
Paul Proctor joined Coram Deo in the Fall of 2018 as a Church planting resident. He and his wife are natives of the Pacific Northwest. Paul has an Engineering Degree from Oregon State University and his Mdiv from Covenant Theological Seminary.
Paul still enjoys homebuilding, roasting coffee, and rock climbing with his three girls, Karcsi, Hadley, and Liesl (rather he mostly enjoys belaying while they climb). Paul and his wife Emily are excited to be a part of Coram Deo and are hopeful to see more churches planted in Spokane.
More than anything Paul and Emily love reading about faith and theology and talking about how a new understanding of God has shaped and formed their own lives and worldview. Seeing new aspects of how the grace of Jesus intersects with their lives and the lives of their neighbors and those in their local community is one of the greatest joys they have experienced.
